2009 FCC, Sapulpa Report

Each year I come up with a list of progress made during the last year. This is not the normal things we do all the time, this is progress. Take a look at how God has blessed in 2009 and give Him praise. Let me know what I missed to add to the list. God bless you in 2010. Gary Radtke Progress 2009 34 Baptisms & 32 Transfers Voted for & hired Sarah Griffith as Director of Children’s Ministry! Had a great Children’s Minister Search Team led by John Dugger Hired Richard Snyder as new church janitor Had a great team to hire & train new janitor Summer Youth Intern Josiah Brock Monthly Staff meetings now with the new team New Children’s Area Completed 40 Days of Love-Started 10 new small groups-8 continued for a time 2 Leadership Base Groups First Look & First Encounter classes-good numbers and good results Women’s Ministry Reorganized and doing well Shower held to restock our church kitchen Expanded our Thanksgiving Outreach to around 700 people fed Benevolence Ministry met record needs-111 different family units with 610 contacts Benevolence Ministry replaced Jacquie Laffitte’s roof Benevolence ministry training by Chris Beach & Betsy Catrett Trained 6 of Benevolence team members to help with calls Forgotten Family Visitation Ministry restarted Forgotten Family Spaghetti fundraiser raised over $800.00 Forgotten Family Ministry provided School Supplies Started Valet Parking Kids Camp Cost Spaghetti fundraiser went well 2nd Valentine Banquet went very well, expanded from last year Expanded Hamburger Heaven-Large Car Show Showed Fireproof two times Praise Band saw Chris Tomlin OCC Frontline visit Western Day Round up expanded-very well received. Started Senior Fellowship Tuesdays - going well Moved 5 Adult classes-1 twice Foot Washing Service went well with a small group Had to do an indoor Easter Egg Hunt due to rain, but it went well Garage Sale raised $1143 for the Pathfinders Ministry Guys Camping & Fishing Trip to Beavers Bend. Fall Festival-Craddocks are amazing & did a great job adding the Trick or Treat Town Brightened up projector in the Sanctuary Replaced air conditioners above the gym Fixed the Annex Roof Fixed the parapet around the sanctuary Sign put up outside to direct people to the CLC/Gym Other new signs posted around Repainted wood & touched up mural on baptistery Painted the underside roof of the covered walkway Repainted & repaired the flag pole Leveled out the front dirt & grass area Better lighting in the church courtyard Cut down & hauled away old crooked decapitated evergreen from the front corner. Cleaned out Bus Barn Handicapped parking painted Down spouts put up. Bought a Church Bus
